Bio:
Dr. Mackenzie is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She specializes in cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring, liposuction and facial procedures.
Dr. Mackenzie obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, in psychology and education respectively, from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked in social service before pursuing medical studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. After general surgery residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, she completed her plastic surgery residency at McGill University in Montreal. Dr. Mackenzie began practicing in Idaho in 1998, after which she moved to Wyoming, where she started her own independent practice in 2000. She has been in “Best Surgeons in America” for the last three years and was nominated for the “Best Surgeon of the Year” award through the Wyoming Medical Center.
Dr. Mackenzie has served on the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation Board and has provided free surgical care through the Women’s Shelter of Wyoming. She loves music and plays 6 instruments, has conducted the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra, served on the Board of the Casper Youth Orchestra, and recently won “Best Actress in a Leading Role” in the Casper Community Theater. Born in Rochester, New York, Dr. Mackenzie has a daughter and son and currently resides in New Hartford, New York.
