The SmartLipo™ procedure usually takes approximately one to three hours to complete under local anesthesia but may require more time to achieve best possible results or if additional procedures (such as other liposuction or tummy tuck procedures) are performed. Most SmartLipo™ patients undergoing the procedure return to work and their activities in a few days. Some people may need extra healing time. Patients who have additional procedures may also need additional recovery time.
